Falar em cor vermelha é quase um pleonasmo. O vermelho é a cor por excelência, a cor arquetipica, a primeira de todas as cores. Em muitos idiomas, a mesma palavra significa VERMELHO e COLORIDO. Em outras, há uma sinonímia entre bonito e vermelho, como acontece em russo. O vermelho é o mais fortemente conotado de todos os termos de cor, mais ainda que o preto ou o branco.

Talking about Red colour is almost a pleonasm. Red it's the colour by excellence, the archetypal color, the first of all colours. In many languages, the same words means RED and COLOURFUL, In others there's a synonymy between pretty and red, as it happens in Russian. Red is the most characterised of all colors, even more than the black or white.
